Holland Properties takes your personal information seriously. Personal records are kept under lock and key, in an alarmed facility. Electronic files are password protected.

Your personal information is available only to authorized personnel. All information is held on file as per Oregon Law and the Oregon Real Estate Board. Files are destroyed at the appropriate time by shredding and/or the erasing of electronic media.

Your personal information will only be shared with your authorization. If Holland Properties is required by law to provide the personal information in the company’s files, we will comply with the law.

Property owner’s for whom Holland Properties manages properties do not have access to the tenant’s personal information. However, the company and its agents may discuss the information in a tenant’s consumer report or lease application with a property owner. Copies of personal information are only provided to the landlord or owner of the property: (1) with the tenant’s consent; or (2) if Holland Properties ceases to be the property manager and the owner requests that the files be sent to the owner, the owner’s attorney, or the new property manager.

If Holland Properties erroneously reports information to a consumer reporting agency, Holland Properties will act to correct the information in the company’s records and request the reporting agency to correct the information in a timely manner.
